Capture the Flag 06 doubled the participation and the fun from '05. The competition was intense, the flags changed hands right up until the end of the tournament. Calvin Miller took the big prize and $2500 from Stan Miller Yachts with a 6 fish Slam of 145 pounds including a 62 pound White Sea Bass.
His win also netted him the Slam Flag, a custom engraved reel frame from Baker Reels, a Rogue Rod, an Allfishwear embroidered jacket and his pick of 20 sponsor-provided products. Congrats Calvin!

Billy Ito plucked some flags with a couple big fish but it was his 8 pound 6 oz. Barracuda that captured the Boat Depot/Glacier Bay Barracuda cash award of $1000. Billy's buddy Mike Cheap picked up the award for Billy who had a funeral to attend.

The Bonito were running pretty big early in the tournament and there were some 10 pounders posted early, but Calvin Miller took the $1000 Berkley Bonito Award with an 11 lb. 3 oz. 'Bonehead'.

The Calico flag was captured by Jonathan Yuja with a 5.7 pounder, then his Dad bested him, but Jonathan finally grabbed the flag and the Allison Marine $1000 Calico Award with an 8 lb. 7 oz. fish.

CG Miller had the lead in the Stan Miller Yachts Slam competition until his Dad bested him but he was still able to hold on to the Halibut Flag with a 36 lb. 3 oz. 'Butt' to win the $1000 Horizon Yachts/Albemarle Halibut Award.

What an ending as Calvin Miller simply squashed the competiton on the final day of the tournament with a 62 lb. 3 oz. White Sea Bass which earned him an additional $1000 from Bill Falkentstein of Offshore Marine.

Miguel Yuja had a couple of flags during the tournament, but it took a last ditch effort at Clemente to bag a 35 lb. 6 oz. Yellowtail and capture the Sundance Marine/Parker Boats $1000 Award for the biggest Yellowtail.

Daniel Salvay won the Big Fish Little Kid Award with a 29 lb. White Sea Bass earning him a $250 shopping spree at Big Fish Bait & Tackle in Seal Beach.

Jonathan Yuja won the Mini Slam by posting the heaviest set of fish for under 16 year olds winning him a $250 shopping spree at Big Fish Bait & Tackle.

| Team Ruckus was a big winner. Their combined wins and slam gave them a leg up on the raffle with a good number of door prize tickets. Sure enough, Team Ruckus pulled the ticket that won them a $2000 custom made "teaser" from JF Albert Jewelry Design. |
